Chapter 1:

The leaves swayed in the soft Autumn wind, the city busy as usual. Heels clicking and briefcase swinging, Mr. Reynolds paused to examine a leaf which had fallen on the top of his black hat. The businessman always wore black - it was his signature trademark. He picked the shriveled up leaf from his hat, and placed it in front of his face, eyeing the interesting bit of Nature closely, occasionally bringing it up closer to look at. After examining the Autumn leaf for a while, he dramatically unzipped his posh Prada briefcase, and allowed the leaf to plunge into a free fall from his hands to inside his briefcase. "Nice." He whispered, smiling under his wrinkled nose. Walking fast, he hurried across the alleyway, made a right turn, and arrived right in front of the Brick Wall. The wall seemed like any other brick wall - carefully pieced together with vermilion bricks, with strings of overgrown leaves. It had covered up graffiti messages from rebellious teenagers which once had the night of their lives. The Brick Wall was just a wall. Nothing special. Mr. Reynolds closed his eyes and inhaled the cool, Autumn smell of the buzzing city.
