Her Return

And so she left me . . .

This very end I’ve seen

It scares the blabber out of me

It’s tragic

It hurts

That this end is how it is

It’s the nocturnal effect that compounds the ache,

But the day is sodden with hope . . .

Not the night

When she left,

As she left

It’s the tapestry of woven evil.

The sobs won’t bring her back,

But the pain force the sobs anyway.

That like that,

Just like that . . . she left

. . . I’ll miss you now you’re gone . . .

And then,

The very then

She returns,

Like the golden lining in the sky

Once silver, glistening with the sunrise,

With reassurance.

Like the lone spark in palpable bleak,

She returns!

Like the seasoned muse of a lengthened ponder,

She comes!

And like the glorified scars from a victorious war,

She stays!

And like the joyous expiration to Nirvana,

Like the revered death of a Samurai,

Like the awe-filled beaut of a super nova

As the impressions of a sanctified walker . . .

She bids farewell in peace and leaves as such-

One who would be back . . .
