Struggle O' Struggle! What will thou gain?

Uninvited you come with crashing pain,

To this one life awaits death at end;

All moments captured with hearts that bend.

The joy and peace that went astray,

The sorrow that lit like a sunshine ray

With regret, bound, in this living race;

O' Lord hear hear thy prayer and show me thou grace!

Tortured like slaves with souls that bleed!

How much more? Do we beg and plead?

O' death I call, drag me to thy grave!

For this I ask and most I crave!
