Its a poem I wrote when I felt kind of down. I was listening to Nick Cave that day, and he is my favorite musician, so you can recognize his influence.

Enjoy and I would appreciate your feedback

FUTURE

Come,baby,
Come with me
Let s run off together,
And get drunk during the week.
I will love you,
And hold you,
Like a bird in its beak.

I will take care of you,
And guard you in your sleep,
Oh-oh-oh-baby
Nobody will ever find us,
we ll be alone,
This dark world will never find us
We ll be gone.

We will buy a house on a farm,
Maybe get a pet
Dog or a cat?
And I promise, baby, nobody will do you harm
We will have a daughter, or maybe a son
O-oh-oh, how wonderful it will be hon?
Daugther will be Mary and son will be Harry
Oooooooh, honey,me,will you marry?

But something happened along the way,
You got cold feet,
And you said you were leaving
And away you went.
As I watched you leave,
My eyes started to tear
Good thing your house was in the forest
So your scream no one could hear.
We could have been happy,baby
If you gave me a chance
For eternity
We could ve dance.
