Every day, as I walk down the street,
Miscellaneous thoughts shroud my mind.
Life, in it's dull, monotonous way,
Had discoloured my own vibrant hues.
The wind blows, brushing the strands of hair from my cheeks,
Blowing away the clues.
I want to reach that sky,
But it seems so terribly high,
Instead, my heart is shrouded with blues.

I hear a voice from far, far away,
Asking me to fly, barring me from staying.
My heart goes on, floating in its melodious tune.
Going uphill, going downhill,
My hair dances at the wind's flute.
Hearing the sound of my heart,
Feeling the beat of life,
And once again, I set off-
Seeing the sunrise, seeing the sunset,
The bright day follows the dark night.
As time flies by, I continue my own journey,
This life is always mine.
