This is a story about the last time I would see my friend, they didn't die but this is what it would look like if they did.

You once told me you would never leave my side, for it would be hard to do so. Since I was that bright light at the end of a dark tunnel, we've been through good and bad times. We've laughed like never before, that our bodies would ache cause we laughed so hard. It was sad when I saw you in the hospital bed, not knowing how long your life expectancy was. The next day I had to go to school, it was hard to focus when all I thought about was you dying and me not being there to say goodbye. After I left class and was going to my other class I remember how I would always meet up with you and talk, I got sad knowing I wouldn't be able to do that again. When I went to my next class I sat down and cried, not because I hated everyone in that class but because I would loose my best friend. After school I went to the hospital to make sure you were alive, as soon as I got to your room it was too late. The room was full of doctors, trying to revive you that's when I knew I came to late. Later that night I cried my eyes out and almost took over my life so I wouldn't be lonely with fake people.
