The hobby of scrapbooking is just great. I have more than enough pictures to fill one hundred books.

I bought all of my books two years ago, and I am happy to report after a year and a half I have completed one. I have five children so that leaves me with only four more to go.

I always wondered why folks in their older years of life don’t separate the family pictures to make sure when you have passed all kids have pictures from the past to cherish forever.

Now I know why they don’t separate pictures and just let the kids duke it out. What a pain in the butt this has been. I have finally completed one book, and I am missing parts to put the book together. Not to mention the glue stick that did not stick.  So I gave taping the pictures a try, but I kept losing the end of the tape and had to open a new roll.

It reminds me of baby books your first child’s book is filled up or even over flowing  marking all the important events. The first word, date and time of their first step. Who was present at the time. Date and time they rolled over. Nothing is left out of your first child’s life from birth to the first day of school.

Second child’s baby book is a little thinner, first words, and first steps are indeed accounted for and maybe favorite baby food. But after age two the pages are blank.

My third child’s baby book was pretty sad. Baby born at 12:01 pm walked at, not sure but was able to walk down the aisle for her wedding and I’m pretty sure she was potty trained.

Forth child’s book was completely blank, and the fifth child let’s just say I never bought a book, but I tell her It got lost in the move, even though she was born while we lived in the same house we live in now but lucky for me she believes me and my excuse.
