A A A

A A A

Your eyes were shining

With the same little smile as your mouth

And I just want

To hold you

To touch you

But I

In my own stubbornness

Can’t bring myself

To say it

My mind races

With every thought

Of you

With me

But why do I

Do this to myself

When I could just ask

And know

How you felt

So that I

Could move on

And be free once more

But even if I was

Free

I would just

Find my way

Back

To you
