Logical incongruity tears at the soul

the juxtaposition of what I see and know

Affinity rewarded in abandonment

Honor rewarded with resentment

A world of hate devoid of love

A world of darkness kept from above

Lies entangle when truth is sought

Felicity hunted but misery caught

Rejected for honor and thoughtfulness

Rejected for seeking another's bliss

Only when I'm close to death I feel alive

I Feel alive and know how dead I am inside

Holding a world of love to impart

In each effort an exsanguinated heart
