You once said you would leave, you never said when. I just assumed it would be soon, for that's when people leave. But you didn’t leave so soon, you stayed in my life longer than I had expected. You soon taught me things I didn’t know was possible; you taught me how to smile, not any smile tho. Just the one that you feel in your heart. You also taught me what it felt like to have butterflies in your stomach, which isn’t what I had imagined. I thought it was actually having butterflies in your stomach. Then before I knew it you were gone, everyday that went by I would cry. That was till I realized it was for the best to let go.
