This is a poem I wrote with Zayn ul Abidin!! Really had fun putting this poem together with you. This poem is basically showing life and death. In the first halve, we have explained life that seems beautiful and never-ending. But the reality is that we will die one day and will be answerable to God for our mistakes. It's a deep poem. Will make you think hard.. So I hope everyone likes it..

MORTEM

Where the glitter-soaked stars shined, and the scenario seemed like ecstasy

Tis' there I dwelt, a magical dilemma, a solemn, unimaginable fantasy

There my dwellers made unethical love, dreamt, burnt and plundered for glee

There for their own sakes, they took souls, one, two or three or many

Thou erred and erred, unthinking, amidst luxuries and tiaras

Voracious and hungry for even more, For life I am and living me is the reality

Yes! Life I am, life of life, of stars, of futures bright and lively

Yes! Life I am, life woeless and a heavenly picture of eternity,

Rouse from the cloud nine, open eyes to see the new reality

Arrival of the gloominess, heads it's way to your existence

Pinching every moment, borrowing the hold of my breath

Dark side as if a demon, i see, horror enough to feed on me

Soon enough to extract my life out of me, by a leaf of my name

Out goes my phyche, from the tip of my toes to the new world

Talk about the people you loved, moaned, cried, at their loss

Break your way to glance at them, but won't get signals to show your existence,

Between mud you are now, from which you were cloned out of

Stop there, as you now have to answer the all of it

Death what I say, believed that you would jump up one day
