STONE

I am lost in the shadows, where I am nobody knows

Feel no pain, feel no sorrow, it began so long ago

Someone tell me where to go, someone lead me to my home

I fell into a hell-hole, life is way out of control

Take me back now to the time when my life was not my own

There’s no reason to be reborn, I live with so much scorn

I feel the knife cut to the bone

And though alone, I am a stone

Looking for a ray of sunshine where is the grand design

God I know you’re out there somewhere, I just need something divine

I am searching for an answer, an open door, a key to find

My life lost in the shadows more than just a little blind

Take me back now to the time when my life was not my own

There’s no reason to be reborn, I live with so much scorn

I feel the knife cut to the bone

And though alone, I am a stone

I don’t know where the winds may blow

But the rivers flow to the sea

Through the rain through the snow

I can feel my heart grow cold

Take me back now to the time when my life was not my own

There’s no reason to be reborn, I live with so much scorn

I feel the knife cut to the bone

And though alone, I am a stone

I am a stone, no I won’t fold

Hard to the core, some think I’m bold

You think I’m not, reach out and touch me

Don’t try! Don’t try to save me!

I just need to know! I just want to know!

Hope to God I know … When I am home.
