THE BLINDING LIGHT

Night has a way of fading into the day

April showers come in the middle of May

I am afraid that your love will never stay

I'll wake up and you'll have gone away

Open your eyes and see the blinding light

Though the darkness comes, you can make it through the night

Keep your eyes upon the blinding light

Don't give up without a fight

Fear is a sickness that gets into the blood

Fear of flying, fear of dying, fear of never being loved

Death marks its toll on the young and the old

Always squeezing and never letting go

Open your eyes and see the blinding light

Though the darkness comes, you can make it through the night

Keep your eyes upon the blinding light

Don't give up without a fight

Love one another, that's what the good book states

Go the extra mile with a smile on your face

Give of yourself without expecting anything in return

Except a smile and "THANK YOU BROTHER! I COULD HAVE DONE IT MYSELF!"

Open your eyes and see the blinding light

Though the darkness comes, you can make it through the night

Keep your eyes upon the blinding light

Don't give up without a fight
