Your words and breath like diamond blades tearing me apart

Stabbing, ripping, tearing deeper wounds in my heart.

There will not be a yes after the thousandth time of no

But like an addict of drug I just can’t manage to let you go.

How much I wish you hold me from dreaming no more

Only if I can just erase every existence of folklore.

No feasible solution out of this torture that I can foresee

Except trading all my wealth for a vial of nepenthe.

It might not be a cure, it might not be able to heal

But even the briefest respite would be worth the deal.

All I seek is a path out of depression and endless grief

May nepenthe be able to help me even just for a day brief.
