And then, finally comes dawn

When I catch a glance of a startled fawn

Aroused by a roaring like that of a hurricane

As wind rages against wind in the desolate plane.

In the midst of it all, a mist and a solitary spark

Giving rise to a furious flame

Which ferociously strained against the dark

With its light eradicating the formers claim

So suddenly a tidal wave struck,

Sending back the wind and fire to the oblivion from which it came

Then again, something went cluck.

It clucked for a while, now it clucked with style

So loud it could be heard clear for a mile

That something was a chicken, a great round chicken

Wandering around a bright sea of green grass

For where barren darkness had once stricken

The Sun again shined with all authoritative class

Spreading light throughout the land

Whilst lake waters brushed calmly against the yellow sand

Melodious sound filled the air –

A minute of silence it did not spare

Noticeably hungry, I eagerly noshed on a pair.
