Have you seen a flying saucer,

fork, spoon, or knife

Yes, said the believers

But mostly husbands and wives.

I made my other half mad,

and I wish that I hadn't

Put myself on a trip

with Sinbad and Alladin.

We got lost in the woods

I ain't a Boone or a Crockett

Acting Johnny B. Goode

with a jingle in my pocket.

Have you seen a flying saucer,

fork, spoon, or knife

Yes, said the believers,

and I was one that night.

Will you miss me when I'm gone,

and your all alone

While I'm travelling this road,

so far from home.

Are you looking for me,

and can I be found ?

Going there from here,

while I'm leaving town.

To Sydney Australia,

or maybe Tiwan

Lord I can't believe I failed ya,

so I'm moving on.

Have you seen a flying saucer,

fork, spoon, or knife

Yes, said the believers

But mostly husbands and wives.

From Star Trek to Star Wars,

I've seen it all

But nothing like that night,

saucers bounced off the walls.
