A A A | A A A

She was the one he dreamt of. Soon came the day when they finally spoke to each other. They became friends. Slowly, the pace picked up. Companionship started stripping its boundaries. Lust was resonating in their coordination. Above all, came the need to be with the other.

Dawns and dusks. Insecurities pulsing through the mind. Next to the beach, lost in thoughts. Avoiding his stare because it burnt...till words turned to ashes. Silence gave room to exacerbation. Backstabbed was how he felt. Both of them tried to contain the fine sand within their fists, why does their happiness trickle down as a timer?

Love is there, somewhere, seated in the shadow of anger. Clenching onto his handwriting, falling drops traced her tanned lines. Hoping he will realise that he is everything to her. Was she at fault?

It was once them against the world.

...Why are we now against each other?
