why do they all try to force me back into what I've been

just why can't they just let me be what I am

why ever am I looking back

why am I having my back against the wall these days

oh, I just want to escape

yes, I finally want to be myself

please, set me free now

let me tear apart these chains

why do you look at me like that

just why am I backing away the closer you get

why ever can't I just let go

why do I have this freezing hate

oh, I just want to feel love

yes, I need warmth

please, let me out

let me free myself from what's tying me down

why am I still asking

just why am I still mourning about the past

why ever am I locking up inside, gaining coldnes

why are there just these negative feelings

oh, I wanna be in control again

yes, I finally want to know

please, let me open up again

let me defeat the cold surounding me

oh, let me free the misery

just let me rise again

oh, let me dream again

just let me be

oh, let me be free again

just let me break out

oh, let me begin again

just let me return

Can I leave the past behind

just forgetting

can I leave the others behind

just beeing myself

can I leave the doubts behind

just letting me trust in you

can I leave the fears behind

just letting myself be the one...

please break the chains of time

and make me eternal

please break the chains of life

and make me what I'm destined to be

please break the chains of my old self

and make me wake up

please break the chains of emotions

and set me free...

broken chains...

splitting mirror...

I'm released...

I'll be free...

will I be?
