Loneliness can become your friend, if you tread too long alone and let turn your heart cold, by all the ignorance received. A like mind though, can warm it any time and offer so much more, lest
become the helping hand you need to see the light.

Dusty road kissing sky of crimson red

Yet no end in sight

Though a long way still ahead

The night is chilly stale and full of dread

Absent the moonlight

Stark silent as one's last bed

In a world that doesn't care

Forever walking on and on alone

To where no one sees

Heart shattering in your hands

Won't reach, won't call, with so much to atone

Drowning all worries

Lost in solitude's old dance

In this world that doesn't care

Somewhere there's a place to yours akin

A far cry from here

But it's light is gleaming through

Tugging your heart to remind you within

Of a heart so near

Sharing your pain, ever true

But the world just doesn't care
