Your eyes reflect sadness

your gaze reflects longing

torn between pleasure and pain

caged from your own self

What are you so afraid about?

Why can't you just let it be?

Why do you keep running away

from yourself?

I don't want to see you suffer

I don't want to chain you

but still I don't want you

to go away just like that

Why can't I give you

what you need?

Why are you so addicted to the pain?

Why do you long to be tied down?

I want to embrace and comfort you

catch you before you even fall

but if it's for your good

I'll have to let you go

Why don't you share your pain?

Isn't there anything I can do?

How much does only me matter anyway?

Why do you have to be like that?

Your last desperate pleas

I'll promise you to keep

wherever the winds of time will take you

deep in my heart you'll allways remain

though I as well want you to remember, too

wherever you're gonna go and be

there's allways someone out there

who still dearly loves you...
