I like how you took the forest she was in. It felt like I was actully with her. You drew the bird beutifully like a canvas. I like how you represent her emotions, it was very realistic. In the summary, said she was in a hospital, confined in hospital walls. Poor thing, probably didn't get out much. I like how there's a cliffhanger with this. I always like when stories portray dreams because there's theroies behind it. The reader and the character would both be confused of what conspired in the dream. You set the scene well, the tension was in the air, and I liked the quest that she has to find the... phoenix perhaps. I'll read more as soon as I can. This one is a promise. I always love me a good hospital story with some supernatrual.

Interesting... I like how you don't give much away here, it makes me intrigued to read on. And the descriptions of the bird were great - I could really see it in my head!

I love a story that doesn't give anything away, and oh boy I have hit the jackpot here. You have a descriptive writing style that is stunning, and the best advice I can give you is to not change it. It will allow you to be descriptive when needed, and vague when needed, and it will work wonders for you.

I get the sense this person is hallucinating in the hospital, or she is in a coma and this whole story will take place in her dreams. I love the concept no matter how you are doing it. Your descriptions of the bird are genius, and this is what I was talking about with your writing style. It felt like I was painting this bird, and your imagery is stunning.

I admire the realism you bring, and I think this bird is a Phoenix, so it makes me wonder if the main character is already dead. Vague and mysterious for a start, and that is what I want. There is promise here, and I'm very impressed by this start. Corine I would like to continue with this :D

I wanted to start this book in a way that made the reader know as little as my main character. I try to write as if the story was happening to me. What is the first thing I would notice, what would grasp my attention, etc.
I think you are on the right track about what my story is about...I guess I used a little too much foreshadowing.
I'll warn you right away my later chapters are a lot rougher and still need a lot of polishing.
Thank you so much for reading! and I hope you enjoy the adventure I put this girl through.

Your eloquently poetic imagery is like music of the night, an ancient voice of the soul that envelopes the heart in an enchanting rhythm of secrets. Your kindred spiritual pen gives rainbow iridescence to the winged mysteries of life ~*
