"What kind of live is this?"

silver tear runs over a face

pale and sad, invisible mask

"What kind of world is this?"

reach out to touch the glass

the cage cannot be seen

"What's the use of love?"

torn apart by emotions

hate, hurt and fear

"Can I fly away?"

fingers tracing the faint line

of a raven's wing

"Will I once be released?"

long for darkness

to embrace you, take you to peace

"Will I see any light?"

wander and wander

through the darkness of souls

What will be left behind in the end?

in this battle,

in the winds of time...
