Sky's dark, air is cold

slowly they fall quietly

little flakes of such pure white

My eyes they close in pain

I love it and I hate it

for the longing it is waking

In my mind I see you

sitting by the window

while snow pass by

Smile on your lips

you feel the freedom

in the storm around

Step by painfull step

Long way still ahead

I wish to be just where I need

I crave your warming hand

on my eternal lonely path

but I know I'll have to stay alone

Life for you means warmth

though for me it's icy cold

deadly poison to my heart

Goodbye my love I say

no tears escape my eyes

final flame of hope extinguished
