Through the ground the water flows,

Swiftly, strong the current goes,

A power which can not be tamed,

A whisper calling out your name,

Animals fall weary in the day,

To nature's forces they are prey,

A path with which you cannot pass,

A streak breaking through the grass,

And man slowly conquers it,

A bridge standing over it,

When at last the river calms,

Breaking apart in your palms....
