Run through the forest,

Run like the wind.

No turning back,

Or you might see him.

Avoid the teeth,

The eyes that glow.

Hope he can't see you,

Crouch down low.

Don't let him find you,

Don't let him see.

Quickly turn,

Behind that tree.

A misstep of foot,

A slip in the mud.

A voice slowly saying,

Your time is done.

A small glance back,

A moment of weak.

A look that makes,

A grown man shriek.

The mistake is made,

No second chance,

He pounces on you,

As you fall in his trance.
