The Resurrection

"I am the Resurrection and the Life. Whoever believes in me, even though he has died, he shall live. And everyone who lives and believes in me shall not die for eternity." {John 11:25-26}

"Do not touch me. For I have not yet ascended to my Father." {John 20:17}

"But go to my brothers and tell them: I am ascending to my Father and to your Father, to my God and to your God. {John 20:17}

"Peace to you. As the Father has sent me, so I send you." {John 20:21}

"Those whose sins you shall forgive, they are forgiven them, and those whose sins you shall retain, they are retained." {John 20:22-23}

"Look at my hands, and place your finger here; and bring your hand close, and place it at my side."  {John 20:27}

"My Lord and my God." {John 20:28}

"You have seen me, Thomas, so you have believed. Blessed are those who have not seen and yet have believed." {John 20:29}

The Ascension

"This Jesus, who has been taken up from you into heaven, shall return in just the same way that you have seen him going up to heaven." {Acts: 1:11}

"Go forth to the whole world and preach the Gospel to every creature." {Mark 16:15}

"Whoever will have believed and been baptized will be saved." {Mark 16:16}

"Yet truly, whoever will not have believed will be condemned." {Mark 16:16}

The Descent of the Holy Spirit

"Do penance and be baptized and... receive the gift of the Holy Spirit." {Acts 2:38}

And I will give to you a new heart, and I will place in you a new spirit. {Eze 36:26}

And I will place my Spirit in your midst.... that you may walk in my precepts and keep my judgments. {Eze 36:27}

I will pour out my spirit upon all flesh, and your sons and your daughters will prophesy. {Joel 2:28}

Your elders will dream dreams, and your youths will see visions. {Joel 2:28}

"The Holy Spirit... will teach you all things and will suggest to you everything whatsoever that I have said to you." {John 14:26}
