Ever since I was a child,

I remembered how you smiled.

Sweet, kind, gentle that lighten the room.

Every night this little me come knocking at your doors.

Disrupting your peaceful nights,

But to you it was all alright.

The smell of your cooking,

Makes all of us run for our taking.

The stories you’re telling,

Making us excited and started yelling.

Scolding us when we do wrong,

And teaching us how to be strong.

Years passed as time flies,

I grew up while you grew old.

Busy with our own lives,

But you still remain and guide us thru hard times.

Your ever gentle hands never letting go,

Your teachings that let us grow.

Your love will forever be engraved in our hearts,

Thankful from above,

That you are given to us from the start.

Our sweet, beloved grandparents,

Thank you for your never ending care,

And a love so rare.
