She's tired of all the mind games,

She's sick of being played,

She wants to get away from this,

of all the drama that's been made.

So she runs from all her problems,

leaves her home and friends behind,

Takes solace in her new isolation,

in the darkest place that she could find.

She falls asleep and dreams about,

a life that's not so hard,

she wonders what it would have been like

if she was dealt the winning card.

In her dream she see's a silhoeuette,

of an angel in the sky,

calling her name in a thundering voice,

as she begins to fly.

"There you are" I kiss her cheek,

as she slowly opens her eyes,

"I know I upset you earlier,

and I wanted to apologize."

I grabbed the bag of chicken treats,

and took out a juicy square,

As she jumped for joy I laughed and said

"I'll throw it over there!"

So I made the throwing motion,

watched her search around to see,

that I didn't throw the treat at all,

It was still with me....

She's tired of all the mind games,

She's sick of being played.....

(This poem is definitely about a ferret)
