"Do not say it, do not you dare saying it." Aline tried to prevent the pronountiation of the word, but Sassy could not help it. She had to tease her one way or the other.

"Psychologist… ha, ha, ha." Aline blasted in laughs as well to join Sassy who could not stop at her turn. Their day usually ended up like this since they had lived together for fifteen years. At the beginning, the fight degenerated to the inclusion of Sassy father. Aline quitted the house three times before they got better. The fourth time before she left, the battle was literally real and each engraved their link in each other. That day, finally, their common ground with their fate to be in each other life resumed inevitable. Understanding this required great effort and both of them played their part as adult Aline and Sassy turned into after those helly sceneries.

"She is a friend of mine. I am sure she can help you with your problem." Sassy tried to convince Aline to see her friend, a psychologist. A psychologyst, she preferred go in hell and back before she put her feet in front of the door of a psychologyst. Every time she heard this word, she relived the moment her father walked out of the house he was taking care of her and her mother. She accused a psychologyst of killing her after stealing her father for no reason. She witnessed the tragedy this or a psychologyst can produce in a good house with a great family. She blamed psychologist for the loss of her prestige, her honor, and her  virginity. Sure, she ended up with a great gift from God, but if it was not for a psychologist Maria would have a father and a happy family to grow up.

"Do you think I am crazy enough to go to a psychologist and tell him or her my life story? You are sadly mistaken." Aline became unrecognizable for Sassy in a peek and Sassy had never wished to piss her off enough to see her dark side. Not a pretty sight she recommended to anyone close to her or Aline. You would meet Satan in her real form and with the magma fire that never died in her eyes.

"Alright, alright. Do not blame me if you can't find a good solution to improve your prejudice toward psychologist like the other toward men. Frankly Aline, you have serious problem in your head. We might end up angry to each other or I might lose you as a friend but I advise you this is…"

"Yeah, yeah I know. It is for my well-being, which you do no need to worry too much. I am happy with my daughter. Next week, she is going to start her university studies. I am so proud of her. We cam fear from where I was twenty years ago." Aline di d not mention Sassy with her persistence for her to meet with a psychologist. However, she was the last person she wanted to forget. Sassy and her in high school were the arch enemies for their battle of power over the guys they chose. As fate would have it, they always crossed each other path. Love the same boys, like the same teacher, made love to the same girls, and tried to succeed in the same major. The day Aline father left, Sassy met him with her mother-in-law. The day Aline mother died, Sassy ended up helping his father with the funeral preparation, and the day Aline had the cruel tragedy in her life for her innocence, Sassy was the one who received her in her house until she could get back on track. After all these histories together, their continual and endless fight unified their bond and their friendship even though until this very moment, Sassy was fighting her to go see the psychologist. "As long as we live, we will always fight." Sassy always murmured these words in her head every time Aline contradicted her or she fought back. Their friendship grew to be stronger when Aline proposed her to be her daughter godmother. Sassy could not be more happy. She became family with her worst enemy, they laughed at the event for months. Aline got back on her feet in time to take care of her baby girl and her own life. With two jobs, one early in the morning, and one in the evening, she fought her way back to her previous liberty with her daughter.

"What major does my niece choose in the university?" Sassy asked her sarcastically with a suspicious smile between her lips.

"She is going to be a great pediatrician. She is passionate about kids and young people. She has lots of friends in high school, remember. The last sleepover we let her have. You remember how much girls who came. She took after you because I had nothing to inspire her with." Aline sometimes regretted in the way her daughter saw the day of light, but she had never rejected the day she gave birth to her. Sassy was the on who held her hand to break when she was pushing with her whole strength.

"Yeah. She was so happy before the school closed. Do you remember the beach too? She almost ate us alive of kisses. I recognized her strength from you in her hug most of the time. Do you dare blaming yourself? You gave her what all mother gave to their children, love, education, and strength to survive. She is one I am telling you. So be proud or we will fight again for you to go to the ps…"

"Do not say it, do not you dare saying it." Aline tried to prevent the pronountiation of the word, but Sassy could not help it. She had to tease her one way or the other.

"Knock, knock,  is there anyone?" The voice was familiar and it was no other than Maria, Aline daughter and niece to Sassy. "Are you guys fighting again?" As she surprised them in the living room a bit suspicious and stunned to see her in the house at this hour.

"How do you know about our fighting?" Aline questioned her while putting her usual face when Maria stood there. "Who told young lady?" She stood up at her turn and Maria took a step back to brave her mother's fury. She experienced first hand in what sort of monster she could transform into. The minions of Hades and Ares would not be a match for her.

"Uncle told me and she warned me of your temper when people talk about you two." Sassy stood a her turn. She often could deal with her mother or her godmother separately, never together. She can't win.

"I would have a talk with father if it was here. How could he? Telling you of our life." Sassy seemed more depressed for his death than his mistake of talking about them with his niece. Aline scrolled her arm around her back to her right shoulder.

"Gom, I am sorry. I did not know. Uncle always told me the story with humor. It never appeared to be real unless…"

"Enough. Do you need anything my girl?" Even in bad mood, she always made her daughter felt special with kind words. She had an idea what she was worth to them and to the family. During the last ten years, they sure took care of her in every point and educated her as parents were supposed.

"I need to know who is my father?" Sassy gasped by putting her hand in front of her mouth. Aline trembled to the pronunciation of the word and she little by little lost her fire to talk, to reprimande, or to tell Maria anything from her past. A past she swore with Sassy not to talk about, ever. "Well?"
