And when the ancient –mount- Beschtaw [1] was in the size of an ant

We-e-e

And the forest of Beschtaw was still in the form of bars and sticks

Way ra way ra way ra we e e

And when the vanguard paced over the Yindil River [2]

Way ra way ra way ra we e e

I was riding on the horseback of Zheman Scharq [3]

*Sosriqwe’s words depict the Circassian notion of world creation and conception. It also describes Sosriqwe’s age advancement linked with the earth’s transformation from fluidity into firmness, and the creation of full-fledged mountains and Greenfields that hoard cattle. From cradle to old age, the sequence of earth’s growth as perceived by Sosriqwe manifest the progress of humankind and the topographical change.
