* Setenaei and her son Sosriqwe shared a very close relationship. This lament and amongst many other accounts, demonstrates a glimpse of Setenaei’s attachment to her son Sosriqwe, and the maternal response caused by his absence. This piece carries an eclectic nature of wording and rhyme, an emblematic of Circassian lament known as ‘Ghibze’- ??????, lit. : The crying language.

An interesting note to point out is Sosriqwe’s chemise brief description; breast plated.  This portrayal may draw parallels between the Narts with Scythian/Sarmatian war attire.
