You always remain silent

And make me repent,

to have loved a person like you

who doesn't even give me a clue.

I pay you every attention

But you ignore me like I'm an apparition.

Tell me, Am I not your wife

that you vowed to love all your life?

I feel so distant having you close by

On your shoulder, I wanna cry

but my words get choked looking at you face

that seem to bear emotions without a trace.

I vowed to share my sorrow by your side

But you still have your pain tucked inside.

And I don't understand

Tell me, where do I stand?

Tick! Tock! Tick!

Time watched you sad when I was sick

And smile happily when I did

Not in my reflection but in my shadows you hid

that I failed to notice your love

protecting me from the cold like a glove.

And you never did hate me

But I that failed to see.
