I wrote this poem about someone who I thought would still be in my life. We went our separate ways sadly..

What's it like to have a constant name and face in the back of your head? Reminding you of the memories you try so hard to forget. A part of me wants to hold on to those memories because that's all I have and that's all I will ever know. The other part wants to just store you with the rest of my forgotten memories, never looking back.

I thought it was something, I thought it would last longer than it did. We both talked about how we've been left, so I assumed that we wouldn't leave each other. Were you really dedicated? I will never know. Was I too dedicated? Maybe. Now I have to go through this pain of forgetting instead of focusing on creating... Maybe we'll have another chance in another life. Goodbye...
