Having tea under the sun by the lake while I talk, still you and I are here because you're bored.

Just another day.

What else is there to say.

The world continues spinning

with the sun still brimming.

An invisible axis stays

controlling the future hours ticking.

By and by

You just can’t help but sigh.

The nation around here destroys itself

a fact so sheer

and we see it so clear.

But yet we just sit

side by side.

The flowers continue to grow

by the river flow.

A lone canoe rides going

past the tree’s shadow.

How are the cookies, too much butter?

You only gave me the mutter.

Do my words just seem jumbles?

The ants pitter patter gets annoying

what with your cookie crumb mumble.

Don’t worry about it too much

You’re keeping that cup close to clutch.

I know you’re aching

every organ continues creating.

You. Yeah. You can continue to munch.

If you’re getting bored of my talking and the lunch

Yet your every signal longs to listen

because

you’re bored.
