Gracious tears of noble exposure

Crystalise among Sunlight trenches

Choke on brown dust and splintered powder

I am a soldier

Espionage on the hierarchy of dirt

Below king roots and worms of depleted flesh

Rich with hidden victory of the highest order

Am I a soldier?

Quaking Earth of mother’s tremble

Humble confusion in barbarity’s freedom

Falling clouds of ferocious reign

A soldier I am!

I must! I’m buried in flickers

Along with uniforms, badges, bullets and all—
