Happiness is perhaps your loving marriage, beautiful children, your professional success, good health, amazing friends.

Sadness, well without a doubt is the loss of a love one. The pain, stress and depression come together when this happens.

My happiness is: returning to the US for a better life for my then 5 year old son. After breaking away from a physically abusive marriage, the best move I had made is to protect my son and my self from the consecuences of not admitting that the life you are living is not the healthiest one. My son is now 26, out of college, working, traveling in a happy relationship, so mission accomplished.

My sadness is: losing two siblings in a lapse of a year (2014-2015) to pancreatic cancer. My father also passed away from the same disease in 2003. By far is the hardest pain I had to endure.

Does the sadness outweigh the happiness?

What are yours?
