The breeze sent startling chills down my neck
The snow drifted as my eyes settled on one fleck
My breath was as rapid as plundering ocean waves
I hopelessly scanned for a comfortable cave
My legs dragged memories of significant pain
I settled down till the snow alternated to rain
My eyes unfolded to the glimpse of light
I discharged of the agitating grip of fright
My mind released the darkness I clenched onto
I did not allow the dimness in but through
For I will not swap back to what I once was
I can't let myself be affected because of a pessimistic cause
My soul will let in things of brilliance
If bad times are to advance I will be of resilience
