I love him, I can tell, there is no other explanation,

For when my stomach is butterflies during flirtation,

I am ashamed I can't control my words around him,

The affect he has on me leaves me simply confounded,

I resolve to be sweeter, I resolve to be kinder,

When I see his gentle face, it will be my reminder,

I wish him a goodnight, and a restful sleep,

Then I ponder if he feels for me, and then I weep.
