i'm going through my poems in search of the right direction for the new song i'm working on and found this! i hadn't posted it on here so i'm doing that now as it ain't that bad (and also cos i still haven't written anything new... :3)
written on january 14 this year, a week after i received glitch and officially stepped in the left-handed circle of musicians.

I gave my left hand a pen
Thought it had something to say

But it left the paper blank
And filled the pen with much more ink

I thought it would know some clever way
To write the pain away

But all it did was show to me
What my right hand just couldn’t say

And that is, how my weakened brain
Can’t cast a light that’s bright enough

For me to read throughout the dark
And bring to words what breaks my bones
