She clicked down the switch, making it spark to life. Slowly the temperature rose and steam circled in the air, patiently waiting, her eyes glanced out the window. Seeing the perfect blue and white of a beautiful day. The sun shone through the window of her 5th story apartment and lit up the metallic burnt umber walls and a vision of a perfect sunset dancing around her. Turning to look over into the bedroom, noticing the sleeping bundle of perfection, snoring, muttering things about dancing cupcakes, a frame of an old farm with a man on a tractor, hung above him on the wall. Giggling to herself she knocked of the cup and it shattered onto the floor, as she bent down and felt a presence behind her, he leant next to her sweeping up the cup and discarding the pieces. He kissed her and got a new cup, whispered in her ear "I love you too much to let you pick up the pieces on your own"
