a whisper

a breeze

a leaf in the wind

the pain and

the emptyness

thats buried within

ill cry for you today

and ill cry for you tomorrow

the agony that always stays

and the hollow, broken sorrow

dawn is the darkest hour,

because your gone and im full of fear

i scream from my broken tour

a voice no one can hear

your deep sweetheart eyes,

they were famous

they were legend

i long to kiss your crimson lips

before the gates of the frosty heavens.

i know you're old, and that you're tired

but not really, thats only just me.

your always wasted, your constently wired

your drowning in your own red sea.

but i can see through your clouded eyes,

and your tumbler, cool, chic look.

your sunglasses arent to prevent the sky,

their for protecting the soul you took.

i wanted to be there, i long to see you,

but you were too cool for me.

the ciggerette lit, and billy holiday is playing,

so wont you come dance with me.
