Do our sayings represent always the truth?

In many cases you might get in a situation that people ask you  about your opinion in different aspects of life .whatever the matter is , the fact is not many people tell the truth when they express their opinions and views,  they prefer their own interest.

Regarding that point, I'd like to categorize our saying into  three groups :

1-General opinions and views: here it is ok to consider your own interest and benefits on conditions that you do not harm others or deceive them, The truth might be in one side but you prefer the other side regarding you own benefits.

2- Technical opinions: here you must tell the truth and give the right opinion; otherwise you might be held accountable legally for your wrong or biased opinion.

3-  Performing testimony: here also you must tell the truth even if it is against your own interest  Regarding that point the almighty Allah said: "O you who believe! Stand out firmly for justice, as witnesses to Allah, even though it is against yourselves, or your parents, or your kin, whether (the case be of) a rich man or a poor man, Allah is a Better Protector to both (than you). So follow not the lusts (of your hearts), lest you may avoid justice, and if you distort your witness or refuse to give it, verily, Allah is Ever Well-Acquainted with what you do."(4:135).  I think that to tell the truth even if it is against your own interest is a virtue that many- but not all -miss nowadays, don't you think so?
