You could hear the whip crack

On one Zombie's back

As they were marching

With shovel and spade,

Then they dug up the dead

From each cold bed

Those un-holy legions

The Zombie Brigade.

On this Hallows-Eve

The living grieve

For they discovered misdeeds

And the Day of the Dead

Will forever be shed

If no bodies are returned

To the ground.

"Where did they go?"

Asked a tormented soul,

"And what could they want

With them?"

"Who knows,"

Said the Ghost who offered a toast

To the loss of each body

And fragmented limb.

Oh woo to the dead

Without body and head

Too great a price

Their spirits have paid.

This Hollows Eve

Has revenge up its sleeve

We must attack

The Zombie Brigade!

An eye for an eye

Was the battle cry

As the Ghosts

And Goblins attacked.

Banshees wailed

And the Zombies failed

To slow the advance

Of the determined pack.

We will have what is ours

Buried under flowers

And the leader of Zombies

Has a price to be paid.

He will join us below

His body and soul

For we will defeat

His Zombie Brigade.

And with one last charge

Overwhelmingly large

The Zombie Brigade

Was defeated that night.

Then they captured that creature

That Zombie leader

And buried him alive

Which only seemed right.
