It must be nice...to only see what you want to.

Through rose-colored glasses you take in the view.

 

No bothersome, trivial things, like facts, to get in the way,

there's only black and white, and no troublesome shades of gray.

 

All the other stations are lying, it's a vast left-wing conspiracy.

Only one station has the balls to tell it like it is, to you and me.

 

Everyone else claims you're a robot, under a trance or a spell,

but, you could care less what they think, they can all go to hell!

 

There's one set of truths for them, and still-another for you.

The station's ideology colors all your beliefs, and everything you do.

 

You cling to the notion that you're thinking for yourself,

but you're blinded, put thought and reason upon the shelf.

 

An unknowing marionette dancing to their warped tune,

inside their bubble; their alternate universe cocoon.
