The Poem is based on how mother nature can be the start and end of all things. Life is short so live life to the fullest.

Mountains are just the beginning and the end of all natural scenery, they slumber as gods cry and grey clouds cover the sky like a blank canvas that is waiting for the colour that it deserve. Leaves go brown, losing the will to live and fall from hanging branches .

Faint cries which were once filled with joy, fall silent like a fading memory. Flowers that were overflowing with joy, now wail as they hide in solitude. Lakes fall silent as the rush of cold air falls and freezes over.

The chirps of birds, once grateful to live, now have changed to a wail of pain and suffering and butterflies wither as coldness sinks. Sounds of roaring cars fill the air like poison gas looking for its next victim.

Oh how wrong we were to think that immortality meant never dying, but really the Day will finally come when we are to enter an everlasting slumber.
