Shoot First, Think Later.

I’m gonna be all right now when I feel under threat

cause I went out and bought myself a little metal pet.

This one is so obedient, so small and so well trained;

you really want to pick on me – be warned, you’ll end up maimed.

Much better than a bodyguard, or a dog trained to attack,

this one’s so small and compact its presence I won’t lack.

It will fit inside my bag or in my pocket it will keep,

it can go under my pillow when I drift off to sleep.

I know my safety is ensured by bullets by the score

but don’t take yours for granted if you step inside my door.

Supposing that we argue or that we get into a fight --

I’ll have a way to stop it now, I really think I might!

My home, it is my castle, and I’m entitled to protect it;

you try to break your way inside, a shot should be expected.

And those footsteps that are echoing behind me on the ground,

is someone creeping up on me to strike when no one is around?

Paranoia is a killer, taking freedom with its strife,

but now I’ve got myself a gun it might just take your life!
