I will wonder where the star-like amber's drift

When they leave the burning bridge, left behind.

Will they fly away to form another Phoenix

Or will they float to phantom regions, lost to time?

Some bridges burn by the sparks that set the fire

And angry words blow like wind upon a flame;

Before long the fire rages, and star-like amber's fly,

To the sky, to the sky, such a shame.

Sometimes a Phoenix rises from a bridge's pile of ash

And has come to realize that it has wings to fly and glide

No longer is it bound to the law of ridged structure

It can move across expanses and not tied to either side.

It is time that often sets a friendship bridge on fire

Worlds change, along with scattered points of view,

The bonding force quite often wilts like winter leaves

And the tree that once was full --- is empty too.

Do not lament about the bridges that are burned

For they are progress and at times they are a sign.

They may fly away to form another Phoenix

Or they may float to phantom regions, lost to time.
