Gone was my dream

Shattered with a scream

Stripped from my bones

Faster than I could moan

I soar too close to Heaven

To the clouds I ascent

By wings of wax and feather

I gaze at paradise's wonder

I felt the scorch, the burning sun

Weeping blood, knew I was done

Cast from the skies, fallen angel

Drowned in sorrows, broken, mangled

My dream shattered like pieces of glass

I mourned, for it could not last

Blown away like the sands of time

Dashed away, left nothing behind

I now found solace in sorrow

From that, I look onto morrow

I shall be stronger than I was, yesterday

Come at me, beasts of Hell, come what may...
