i'm sinless in sin city
what a horrid place to be
a soul so pure and innocent
amidst debauchery
.
to some, the holy trio
is to gamble, smoke and booze
i bank my cash, i save my lungs
sobriety, i choose
.
beneath the glitz and glamour
lay the sidewalks, dull and gray
a desert breeze begins each dawn
to wipe the slate away
.
a church is my casino
and the lord remains my king
i walk the valley of the dead
but do not fear a thing
.
you ask me why i live here
with such reservations, deep
my answer is quite simple
i can get my breakfast cheap
