Spring

I am the first butterfly.

From the sac I emerged,

Struggling and valiant.

Now I flit from flower to flower

Gathering and calling out to my brethren.

I am the wakening.

Summer

We are the butterflies.

There are many of us now.

Blissfully we fly,

Mating and playing.

Careless souls flying free.

Fall

I am the last butterfly.

Winter is coming soon.

The cold has come and stolen away the

Flowers, my family, and the sun.

I am the end.

Winter

I am the cocoon.

I am the rebirth.
